Atılım University - Sharing The Success Programme 2016-2017

Distinguished Atılım University Staff,

Sharing The Success Programme of Atılım University aims to enable successful students to share their success by working in an academic or administrative unit within the university. Students taking part in the Programme assist the academic staff in the academic units, train their peers, serve as a model for other students and work in various projects in administrative units. Special attention is paid to organising these activities in such a way that students would not miss their classes. Sharing The Success Programme will be based on voluntariness for each and every undergraduate student having a minimum CGPA of 2.50 from this year onwards. Graduate students having a minimum CGPA of 3.00 may also apply to the Programme. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all students having successfully completed the programme by working at least 40 hours in an academic year.

Each student having successfully completed the programme by working at least 40 hours will be awarded with Atılım University Sharing The Success Programme Certificate at the end of the academic term.

I think information below about the Program will be useful for you:

1.  General Principles: Students accepted to the Programme start working under the related unit. Units direct the students, regulate their working hours and evaluate their performances. Much attention is paid to assign tasks in such a way that they would help students to improve themselves.

2. Student Applications: Students must apply in person to Directorate of Distance Education after analysing the tab titled ‘Units’ of the webpage and obtaining approval by authorised people in the related unit.

3. Evaluation Forms: Units fill out an evaluation form for the students who worked in their unit at the end of the academic year. Students having successfully completed the programme are awarded an achievement certificate at the end of the academic year.

I would like to thank students who want to participate in the Program in advance and wish them success in their future endeavours. I would like to thank Atılım University staff who will help students and mentor them. I would like to hear your opinions and suggestions about the Program.

Kind regards,

Prof. Hasan U. Akay (PhD)
